PELATIHAN PENGEMBANGAN KERAMIK BERBAHAN BAKU TANAH LIAT OLAHAN LUMPUR LAPINDO DAN ABU GUNUNG MERAPI BAGI GURU-GURU MGMP PENDIDIKAN SENI SMP DI KABUPATEN SLEMAN YOGYAKARTA Kasiyan Kasiyan

This particular training is a program concerning: 1) developing a new clay material made of Lapindo Sidoarjo mud and ash taken from Merapi mountain Yogyakarta, and 2) to produce prototypes of ceramic products from this particular clay. The participants of this program are teachers majoring in arts and culture of junior high schools in Sleman Yogyakarta, who are the members of the art education teacher association known as Teachers Association. The program involved 25 teachers and it was conducted on June 9-13th, 2016. The main materials given in the training were related to the substance of the clay and the method of producing ceramic products using that particular clay. The program was held at Centre of Teachers’ and Academic Professionals’ Development and Empowerment of Art and culture Yogyakarta. The training was conducted through lecturing, discussion and demonstration and giving a practical workshop. The results of the training are as the following. First, all of the participants showed their enthusiasm and high motivation during the training. Secondly, the participants of the training were successful in making good quality ceramic products using the clay made of Sidoarjo mud and Merapi ash.

The existence of hot mud Lapindo has an impact on threatened ecosystems, economic downturn, and the destruction of educational facilities and transportation. In addition, according to a study in 2013 found that the information content of metals in samples Lumpur Lapindo that harmful to the body if consumed. This research done to determine whether the content of the Lapindo mud is impacting on element content of groundwater in the affected areas, especially at Glagah arum and Gedang are located in the district Porong. The test used X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) spectrometry to determine the elements on ground water sources, as well as pH testing and Total Dissolve Solid (TDS) as data pendukung of XRF result and to obtain another character of ground water. The method used in the sampling is random sampling method as much as four samples, two samples in the village of Glagah Arum (1A and 1B), and 2 samples in the village of Gedang (2A and 2B). Based on the XRF results obtained that the content of metallic elements found only in one sample were at Gedang area is Pb 25.08 m/m%, U 16.08 m/m%, Px 8.04 m/m%, Nb 7.60 m/m%, dan In 7.47 m/m% . Then result of the fourth pH samples are 8:31, 8:23, 6.99, and 8:45. While the results of TDS are 0.88 mg / L, 0:18, 0:52 mg / L, and 0.83 mg/L by gravimetric method. Overall results of the testing parameters of four samples showed that samples taken in the village Glagah Arum and Gedang did not indicate any danger if used in everyday use but not for consumption so it is not necessary to follow-up such as socialization.

This program was aimed at improving the independence and entrepreneurial productivity of Miftahunnajah Pesantren Al-Mumtaz Orphanage Students with creativity and innovation programs of pastry products. This training is also expected to (1) developing of the economy of the wider community by increasing the selling value of pastry products and their storage power;(2) increasing the variation of processed pastry and creating good and attractive packaging so that the students have good skill in pastry industry; and (3) improving high entrepreneurship motivation of the students. There are several obstacles faced by the students including the limitationsof capital for the development of variations of processed pastry, technological limitations in the technique of product, especially in terms of taste, processed variations and packaging, difficulties in diversifying the business, especially in the creativity and innovation of pastry products, and etc. This program provides training to students using Problem Based Learning method, by analyzing the problems faced to find alternative solutions. The methods implemented in this program include socialization, training related to the production and marketing. The result shows that some trainings and mentoring need to be done in order to improve the income of Pondok Pesantren Al Mumtaz

Lingga is one of the food-vurnerable villages in Sungai Ambawang sub-districtKalimantan Barat. Taro, cassava, cempedak, papaya and pineapples as a local agricultural product from the village. The problem is during the high harvest, low price because it is sold fresh and farming management is only intuition, so the family income is low and still food insecure. The objective of IbDM’s of enhancing family food security and productivity also income of farmers' groups, young people and Lingga village PKK women's groups by the diffusion of cassava and taro flour technology, soft candy production from local fruits, packaging and labeling, and marketing strategies. Methods of implementation include socialization, training and mentoring, evaluation and monitoring. The results show thats program improves the knowledge and skills of three groups also enhances entrepreneurial motivation and product utilization for household food security as well as for family income.

The aims of this activity are: (1) to disseminate the results of research from a team of stewards on the development of learning materials authentic inquiry based learning to develop problem solving and scientific attitude; (2) to develop the skills of teachers in guiding students for doing investigation or inquiry; (3) to develop the skills of teachers in developing learning material with authentic inquiry approach; (4) to develop the skill of teachers in teaching with implementation of authentic inquiry leaning approach. The target participant of this activity is 26 teacher members of MGMP IPA SMP Magelang regency. This activity is done in three stages, including the stage of theoretical training, practical training phase and the evaluation phase. The methods used are: lecture, modeling, discussion, and workshop. The results showed that the overall activity of PPM activity has been successful in reaching the target activity. Most of the participants are already skilled in guiding student for doing inquiry. Most participants also been able to develop student worksheet based on authentic inquiry learning approach and half of student worksheets have contain of problem solving and scientific attitude development. Most of the group of participant can teaching science through the authentic inquiry approach very Good because most of the steps of authentic inquiry learning approach has be done by all group

Street children (Anjal) become unsightly to be seen. They are victims of irregularities from irresponsible persons. Anjal still needs attention for his future. To improve the skills of Anjal, then on this program devotion is given vocational training internet-based, create email and an account at olx.co.id, offer goods on olx.co.id, delete items that have been sold in olx.co.id for business on-line through olx.Located at the Computer Laboratory of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa with a total of 12 participants attended from 20 invitations given, the training was conducted on Wednesday, July 27, 2016. The methods used were lecture, practice, question and answer, discussion and practice.Based on the results of evaluations conducted in general there is an increase in the knowledge of trainees of Anjal empowerment through web design training for on-line business. The increase indicator that participants who have e-mail increased 67% from 4 people to 12 people. Participants understanding on-line sales increased 59% from 2 to 9. Participants who already have a business on-line sales increased 58% from 1 person to 8 people. The expected end result Anjal income, self-adolescent, well-established and anjal can be an exemplary example for the other childhood.

Program Ipteks bagi Wilayah (IbW) di kecamatan Pakis bertujuan untuk membantu program pengentasan kemiskinan di kecamatan Pakis, Magelang. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di 3 Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) di lokasi IbW Kecamatan Pakis yaitu KWT Ngudi Arum, Ketundan, KWT Mekarsari, Nglarangan dan KWT Larasati, Dayugo Banyusidi. Melalui model “Babonisasi” ayam kampung dengan sistem bergulir bagi RTM (Rumah Tangga Miskin) ternyata mampu meningkatkan pendapatan per tahun. Melalui model guliran indukan dengan kesepakatan pengembalian 2 ekor indukan dalam satu tahun pemeliharaan ternyata akan menguntungkan semua pihak. Pengelolaan, aturan perguliran dan administrasi dikerjakan oleh pengusus dari KWT sebagai organisasi penyangganya. Model “Babonisasi” ini akan menghasilkan dua keuntungan sekaligus yaitu peningkatan pendapatan RTM sekaligus organisasi sosial penyangganya. Disimpulkan bahwa model “Babonisasi” ayam kampung bagi Rumah Tangga Miskin akan sangat membantu peningkatan pendapatan dan penyehatan organisasi di desa-desa dengan tingkat kemiskinan yang tinggi.

Furniture industry sector as a sector becomes the superior for developed countries in the state foreign exchange. Furniture industry products always have a higher exchange rate and profitable and can create greater value than other sectors. Furniture industry as one of the leading industries in Indonesia faces problems such as the weak competitiveness of SMEs actors in the factors of application of standard technological procedures, the process of technological mastery and business management. This is experienced by some SMEs furniture in Sukoharjo District, among them are UMKM Berkah Jaya Furniture and Totok Furniture. The activities undertaken to improve competitiveness include: (1) increasing the mastery of production technology and finishing UMKM partner furniture through the introduction of table spinser (combination of spindle and jigsaw machine) and finishing table (turntable); (2) increasing product value of both partners through mix media product training in accordance with market trends and the ability to conduct market surveys and develop networks through exhibition participation; and (3) improving business management of both partners through business assistance activities

Pertambahan jumlah penduduk menyebabkan meningkatnya aktivitas sosial ekonomi masyarakat yang banyak menghasilkan sampah. Pasar tradisional merupakan salah satu sumber dari sejumlah sampah organik dan sampah anorganik, sehingga menimbulkan bau yang tidak sedap dan semakin menambah kesan kotor serta kumuhnya pasar tradisional contohnya pasar Dahlia di kota Pontianak. Sampah juga merupakan sumber beberapa jenis penyakit menular, keracunan dan lain-lain. Jika sampah yang bertumpuk tersebut tidak segera ditanggulangi maka dapat menimbulkan masalah dan dampak pada masyarakat yang bermukim disekitar pasar tersebut. Kegiatan IbM ini bekerjasama dengan dua mitra, yaitu mitra 1 adalah kelompok santri dari pondok pesantren Al Jihad RT 003/RW 005 dan mitra 2 adalah kelompok masyarakat (ibu-ibu rumah tangga) RT 003/RW 005. Kedua kelompok mitra tersebut merupakan kelompok masyarakat yang berdiam disekitar pasar dahlia yang merasakan dampak langsung dari sampah tersebut. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah bagaimana mengurangi masalah tumpukan sampah di pasar tradisional dahlia yang berasal dari sampah pedagang dan sampah warga masyarakat sekitar menjadi sampah organic dan aneka kerajinan yang bernilai ekonomis. Alternatif yang ditawarkan untuk mengatasi permasalahan mitra 1 adalah pengolahan sampah organik menjadi pupuk organik padat maupun cair dan aplikasi pupuk organik pada tanaman sayuran, sedangkan solusi permasalahan mitra 2 adalah usaha pengelolaan sampah anorganik menjadi aneka kerajinan tangan bernilai ekonomis sehingga masalah mitra yang berkaitan dengan sampah dapat diatasi dan disisi lain dapat memberikan sumber pemasukan bagi mitra.

In farming, clean water is a basic need to wash food, drink, bathe and clean the cow shed. Provision of clean water is by means of an electric water pump. Meanwhile, electricity prices tend to rise gradually, consequently monthly the electricity bill for farming needs rise. Another thing, the power outage in the countryside sometimes happens in a long duration. The stability of clean water availability at the location of livestock groups is disrupted. One of the best solution approaches to overcome these problems is to create and develop applied products related to renewable energy and energy independence, namely solar power supply unit. This power supply unit uses 2 150WP 12 Volt solar panels, 2 solar charge controllers, 3100Ah batteries and a DC to AC 1500W inverter. The result of the development of this solar powered power supply unit is about 300 Watt. Its main function is to turn on the water pump during the day and in addition it is able to turn on the led light for street lighting at night. Based on the observations, this unit has been operating well and effectively for about 1 month and successfully assisted members of the cow farm groups in the provision of clean water
